We are a growing and active church. There are many different ministries that you can be involved in.
Listed below is a brief sampling of what we have going on. Each individual ministry is designed to serve people and build up the body of Jesus.

West Visalia Youth Group
Each week the teens meet to study various texts and topics of the Bible at 9:30AM on Sunday at 7:00PM on Wednesdays
​
We also meet at 5:30 Sunday nights for a snack foods and a devotional.

Children's Ministry
We are blessed by having a TON of children at WVCOC. We are serious about teaching our children to walk in the paths of their Lord. Without a doubt, faithfulness begins in the home, however, we try to provide parents with different tools to aid them in raising up their children in the Lord.
Our children's ministry consists of several good works, some of which include:

Spanish Ministry
Our Spanish ministry is another avenue we use to reach our community. Each week a Spanish services is held in the main auditorium at 8:00am on Sunday.

Bible Classes for young adults are hosted on Sunday's at 10AM after morning worship!

Women's Ministry
One very active group in our congregation is our Ladies. These women are involved in service projects, benevolence, card writing, food preparation, Ladies Bible Class, Ladies Day and much, MUCH more!!

Our Ladies Bible Class usually meets in Room 3 on Tuesdays at 10:00am. Currently Martha Fry is teaching this class.
Monday Night for the Master
Monday Night For the Master is on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the Month.
This is a congregational program designed for ALL members. This evangelistic work is aimed at many in the community (non-members) and those in the congregation (members).
The evening begins with members meeting at the building at 6:00pm for a meal (provided free for those ready to serve). After the meal, we have a brief devotional and some instruction about the projects to be done that evening. At around 7:00pm everyone begins their work. All members are allowed to choose their area of service. Areas of service may include: Visitation, Card Writing, Bible, Studies, Phone Calls, Messages to Missionaries, Messages to Students, Praying, Clerical duties and mailings, Baking, Maintenance, Childcare and More!

Care Pregnancy Center
We excited to be partnered with the Care Pregnancy Resource Center. Currently we are having an in-depth class in which our members are studying to become Life Disciples/Advocates to help those going through some difficult times.

The Care Center Offers Free and Confidential:
Pregnancy Tests, Ultrasounds, Options Education, Parenting Classes, Loss Support and Life Coaching.
