“Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world”. (Jesus - John 12:44ff)
Jesus came to Earth to show us the Father. He and the Father are one. He is the embodiment of truth and light and we must believe in Him and obey Him in order to have eternal life. The believer experiences eternal life now, and will see it come to its final fruition after the resurrection.
Jesus came to this earth, not to judge, but to redeem and save. The more I learn about Jesus and the more I read His words, I cannot help but to be drawn to Him. The more I learn about Jesus the more I get to see the heart and character of my Heavenly Father.
Knowing that Jesus came to “Save Me!”, motivates me to live for Him. It is this personal relationship that should compel us everyday to live for Him. He has done so much for me, may God help me do something for Him in return.
